1. Teach breakaway & restraint techniques confidently, safely, correctly and maintain quality practices whilst supervising a training session

2. Provide support to candidates during stage one assessment and evaluate individual abilities to maintain safe teaching practices & environments

3. Implement techniques correctly and observe safe working practices throughout the programme

4. Develop theoretical knowledge and examine the wider issues associated with management of violence and aggression practices
